Doug is Founder and Wealth Strategist at Spinnaker Financial which he founded in 2002. Doug has helped clients across the nation in various areas of planning including Retirement, Minimizing Taxes, Mortgage Planning, Real Estate Investment, Debt Reduction, preserving income, and protecting wealth.
Doug holds a BA in Economics from UNC Charlotte and has served clients in the Financial Services field for over 20 years. Doug and his wife Barbara reside in Hickory and have two adult children. They travel extensively and enjoy the mountains of North Carolina.
Barbara Frye
Practice Manager
Barbara serves as our Practice Manager at Spinnaker Financial. Leveraging decades of financial acumen, Barbara brings experience from compliance, commercial finance, and residential lending industries.
Barbara holds a BS in Finance from Clemson University and has served both business and consumer clients for over 21 years. Barbara and her husband Doug reside in Hickory and have two adult children. She can be found experimenting with new recipes at home and discovering new restaurants as an avid Foodie.
